 Time’s a Wastin’. We are completely revamping our software so that we may give an even larger amount to our Charities than ever before. Hopefully by July the 30th, WeAreCharities will have fully functioning Shopping Sites powered by Shopping.com. 

With thousands and thousands of stores available through Shopping.com, the charitable “Click To Give” sites that WeAreCharities will be able to give you will help you give to your favorite charities at 0% markup ! What’s wrong with that?

The Sound and Voice of WeAreCharities

A friend of mine in the Advertising field, Owen Frager, has often said “find your passion and     broadcast it.” So we did just that very thing. We created WeAreRadio.com to tell people all          around the planet about what we do with WeAreCharities with our own voices between some      of the World’s Best Music.

In just 3 short months, WeAreRadio has risen from creation to one of the Top 40 stations in the World for Alternative Music. Alternative, for us, encomapasses all Rock and Roll and Pop music worth a darn created over the last 45 years. With exclusive Artist Interviews with recording legends like Mark Bryan of Hootie & The Blowfish and Susan Cowsills and breaking bands like Calisus and The Working Title either already done or scheduled soon, WeAreRadio also has truly unique content and musical insites to offer its many listeners.

Asian & Pacific Islanders to Benefit From Partnering with WeAreCharities

San Francisco’s Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center joins a growing list of 501(c)3 organizations partnering with WeAreCharities in our “Shop To Give” Program. We are developing “WeAreHIV.com” to raise funds for the API Wellness Center’s efforts to educate, support, empower and advocate for Asian and Pacific Islander communities – particularly A&PIs living with, or at-risk for, HIV/AIDS.

After attending the 4th Annual Bloom Celebration, at San Francisco’s Metreon on Saturday, May 17th, WeAreCharities was moved by API’s passion and devotion to the hearts and bodies of  its community in the Northern California region. We met with API’s Lance Toma and Saurabh Bajaj, the following Monday and agreed to develop “WeAreHIV.com” to aid API’s fund-raising efforts.

We look forward to “WeAreHIV.com” to hit a computer screen near you by the end of May. We also look forward to the greater good that will become of the World “Shopping To Give” on “WeAreHIV.com” from this month on.

 

Look For WeAreHepatitis.com in San Francisco

We’ll be sharing a booth with California Assembly Woman Fiona Ma at the Asian Heritage Street Celebration on Saturday, May 17th. Teaming up to support SF Hep B Free, San Francisco’s leading Hepatitis B Awareness and Prevention Organization, we will telling the world about our cause. A prees event will be held to Launch WeAreHepatitis.com at the celebration with Fiona Ma.
